A compressed sensing approach for antenna array calibration

This paper presented a compressive sensing (CS) calibration technique that simultaneously measures all the element excitations of 2×2 active phased antenna array (APAA) instantaneously. The power patterns rectangular APAA are synchronized to orthogonally cross multiplicative sub-array system applying in achieving an thinning along two 1-D sub-arrays for fixed steered beam radiation. far field radiation pattern direction is examined considering mutual effect, complex excitation amplitude and phase elements placed on x y axes. unwanted with errors calibrated using minimization vector as standard basic pursuit problem calibration. shift variation compared reference state 0 order evaluate faulty error elements. performance evaluation this proposed measured demonstrated validate effectiveness technique.
